About This

  • Beautiful - Full color packet of Viroflay Spinach (Spinaca Oleracea) Seed. A tried and true french variety that has been grown since 1866. Huge green spade-shaped leaves grow quickly and long. Very cold tolerant; a perfect crop for winter. Minimum of 1.75g (about 130 seeds).
  • Productive - Spinach germinates 4-9 days when soil temps are 50-70°F. Plant 1/2” deep and space 3-6” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 10-30” tall with a spread of 1-2’. This variety will mature in 40-50 days, plant in USDA zones 5-10.
  • Great Spinach - One gardener recently declared “this is the best tasting spinach I have ever had and is the only spinach I am going to plant in the future.” This carefully selected variety grows well planted outdoors in the spring or fall. Could also be grown indoors if given sufficient light.
