About This

  • Similar to Rose, except this plant loves the winter. Grow in a pot or plant it in your garden! Often compared to jasmine because of their fragrant scent! The blossom of the Camellia will begin to be fragrant after their second day of opening. If planted in a container, be sure to occasionally check their roots.
  • The blossom of the Camellia is peony in form and pink in color. They can be used as a fragrant floating decoration when placed in a bowl of water. Grown in hardiness zones 7, 8, and 9. Blossoms will appear mid February to April, making them mid to late season bloomers. These are cold hardy plants.
