About This

  • Large premium packet of Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) seed. A robust perennial herb traditionally used in making absinthe, Wormwood has useful health benefits when used with caution. Once established, this drought-tolerant woody herb does not require much attention and can reach up to 5 feet tall. Minimum of 200 mg per packet (about 2200 seeds).
  • Wormwood germinates in 14-21 days when soil temps are 65-70°F. Plant 1/8” deep and space 2-3’ apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 3-4’ tall with a spread of up to 2’. Worm wood will take two years to fully mature. Plant in USDA zones 4-9.
  • This versatile variety can be used to aid digestive issues or treat fever. Use the leaves fresh or dried for an herbal tea. You may also try extracting oil from fresh leaves for tinctures.
